SPRING HILL BAPTIST CHURCH
Our mission is to share the love of Christ, teach God's message and lead people to the cross in our city and the world.
When we look at the message of Christ, it's simple. Love God, love each other, turn from our sins and live the best that imitates Him.
At SHBC we have decided to get back to the basics and forget the unnecessary politics of church.
For us it's about Christ. It's about worshipping God. Finding relevance in His Word. Showing love for one another and accepting the hurting.
The reality is we are not always perfect in doing this, but we are trying.
We need people to help us achieve this goal. We need you!
GOD THE FATHER
- There is only one God
- God is omniscient or "knows all things"
- God is omnipotent or "all powerful"
- God is omnipresent or "present everywhere"
- God is holy
- God is love
- God is true
- God is the creator of everything that exists
- God is infinite and eternal. He has always been and will ever be God
THE TRINITY
- God is three in one or a Trinity: God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit
JESUS CHRIST THE SON
- Jesus Christ is God
- Jesus was born of a virgin
- Jesus is fully God and fully man
- Jesus is perfect and sinless
- Jesus is the only way to God the Father
THE HOLY SPIRIT
- God is Spirit
- The Holy Spirit is God
THE BIBLE-THE WORD OF GOD
- The Bible is the inspired or God-breathed Word of God
- The Bible in its original manuscripts is without error
